6 teeth and counting..

The top 2 finally are out, those suckers have been trying to come in for over a month. It looks like another 2-3 are on their way in too. This weekend was pretty relaxing, which is just what we needed. We've had so much going on the past 6 weeks and we will be on the road to the 505 later this week, so it was nice to not do much!

A Couple of new Pics....

...from the past weekend. It wasn't only Father's Day, but Conor's Baptism! Our little peanut will be 1 yr old in 2 weeks too! I can't even believe that. It seems like just last month we brought him home from the Hospital....after our 19 day stay in the NICU. You blink and before you know it, they grow up huh?

Father's Day & Conor's Baptism

This past weekend was packed full! We had lots of family in town for Conor's Baptism, plus it was also Craig's first Father's Day! I unfortunately don't have any pictures downloaded yet but will hope to get some from Grandma Ginger very soon (the official family photographer!)
So needless to say, it was a fun weekend and we enjoyed having so many family members make the trip from Albuquerque and Durango! Thank you so much for sharing in our special weekend! Next up is the roadie to the 505 for 4th of July weekend!

A Fun Day at the Lake!

Today, we spent the day at Lake Bartlett, which is about 1 hr from our house. We went with our great friends Bobby & Aleta and their almost 2 yr old Zach. This was Conor's first time on a boat! He had a blast! I wasn't sure how it was going to pan-out since we would be just getting to the Lake when he would normally be going down for his morning nap. But to my surprise, he didn't fuss once! He had so much fun! Here's a picture of us just starting out. At first he wasn't too sure about the boat and all that water! He was glued to mommy.
Here's a great pic of Conor & daddy. Almost time to test out the water...

As you can see from this pic, he was very curious about the water.

This is my fav pic of the day! The boat was not moving, we were tied up to the beach and swimming around the boat. He had so much fun sitting on the inner tube, I bet in no time we will be pulling him on this tube!

We are on our way back to the dock in the pic below, although it we had only been out on the water about 3 hours, Conor was wiped out. The waves & motor put him right to sleep!
Can't wait to go back to the lake.....

San Diego

NO June Gloom! So this weekend we went to visit our friends Denise, Brian & Sadie who live in Pacific Beach, CA. It started out a long trip, b/c Conor still hates his car seat, even though we have moved him up to the next car seat which is more roomy and much more comfortable. We weren't even an hour away (5-6 hr drive) when we asked each other..."should we turn back?" So we took turns sitting in the back seat with him and that made it much better. We rolled into SD at about 7pm and got to hangout for a bit before the kiddos had to go to bed.
On Saturday, we started the day with a walk along the beach. Then once Conor woke from his morning nap, we went to La Jolla for lunch. After lunch, we noticed that Conor was acting really lethargic and was burning up. He had a 102 temp out of now where. He continued to have a temp the rest of the weekend, which was kind of a bummer, but no other symptoms and still eating & drinking like a champ!
On Sunday, his temp was back to normal (for a little while anyways) so we decided to go to the Padres Dbacks game as planned. This ballpark has a huge park inside for families where you can lay a blanket down and watch the game or just play. Great for kids!!! We only got to stay for a couple of innings before his fever spiked back up to 102, so we left. But we would love to come back, it was a great place to be! The picture below is us sitting in the park.

This is a video of Craig & Conor on the beach Saturday afternoon, dipping Conor's feet into the cold water. He didn't really react, probably because his fever had just started. Oh well, we will hope to try again later this summer!

Video from weekend

Fun fun weekend & 4 new teeth

Sorry it's been awhile. We have been really busy since Memorial Day. We had Stef's parents in town for Memorial weekend and that extra day off, made last week fly by.
Conor is having a rough time right now, he is getting 4 teeth at the same time. He has been a little fussy lately, but can you blame him? So he got 2 new bottom teeth, and his top middle 2 are on the way in too. In just a few days he will be 11 months!
We also just celebrated our 7 yr Anniversary. In celebration, we took Conor to The Boulders Resort in North Scottsdale for the weekend. It was his first time in a pool, other than his play pool. He did awesome and had so much fun in his floaty. He actually went swimming 3 times! Here he is resting on a lounge chair.

He wasn't too fond on daddy letting go of him here, and would immediately jump into his arms.

Here they are again, in his floaty.
