The Weekend

Sunday was Elway's 6th birthday! I went to Sprinkles to get some cupcakes for a party we were going to, and realized they also have pupcakes. So I got one for Elway & Stoli to help celebrate his bday! Time has gone so fast. I can still remember the day we picked him out at the Breeders...he was in a litter of about 10 and he came right up to me and bit me with his little sharp teeth! It was love at first sight! And I can remember the day we brought him home. We lived in Ahwatukee then, and he walked right into our pool, didn't even see it! Still have it on video somewhere!

This is a picture of the first day we brough Elway home, prior to falling in the pool... 10 weeks old and 9 lbs.
No luck getting a pic of the two teeth! He is so used to chewing on everything he can put in his mouth, that last night he grabbed Craig's hand and stuck it in his mouth. Needless to say, that really hurts now.

2 teeth!

It's official, Conor now has 2 teeth, both his bottom! I think that qualifies him as able to eat steak! I will try and get a picture and post it. He is very stingy letting us see them.

18 lbs 7 oz

Forgot to mention that his GERD is pretty much nonexistant and only really needs a bib now b/c he is constantly drooling from teething! In about 4 weeks we will stop his last GERD Medication!

8.5 months old!

Sorry, we've been so busy lately and haven't had time to blog, or even do a March Madness bracket! Last Wednesday Craig left for a guys trip to Vegas for March Madness. This was Stef's first time alone overnight with Conor. We had so much fun together and he slept though the night! I make note of that b/c we have been digressing here....For the past 2 months or so Conor has decided it would be fun to wake up once sometimes twice at night, just because. Ok, so sometimes his diaper is wet and he absolutely hates a wet diaper. So there are times when his crying is warranted, but other times when it's not. UGH!

So on Thursday, Stef's parents came in town to visit! Conor stayed home with Grammy instead of going to daycare on Friday. On Saturday, Craig came home, after leaving his liver and money in Vegas....HA HA HA. Actually he only left his liver and came home with more money that he took! That never happens in Vegas! Nonetheless, I'm not sure if Craig wants to drink anytime soon! :-)

On Sunday, we spent the day at Conor's 2nd baseball game. The Oakland A's spring training stadium is pretty closeby and they were playing the Whitesox. Conor had a blast and made it though about 6 innings!
His first tooth is completely exposed now and the other bottom tooth is on its way, should break through the gum any day.
Stef's parents left Tuesday night and we were sad to see them go. It's really hard sometimes not having family around, but we look forward to a trip to the 505 in mid-April. Today, Conor has his synagis shot to help prevent RSV, hopefully his last. So that means he will be wearing his fussypants tonight! ;-(
I am excited to see how much he weighs today!

Still no real interest in crawling, would rather roll over to his back and nudge his way around by pressing his feet into ground. Would rather stand too. We are on his last fruit now, peaches! And will be moving up to Stage 2 food this weekend and starting a sippy cup soon! Can't believe our little peanut is so big!

We've got a tooth!

YEAH! We've finally got a tooth. The gum broke today, and you can feel the tooth underneath! It's his bottom left, and from the looks of it, the bottom right is not too far off. So exciting, but painful for little Conor-man.
Craig's friend Matt from Amarillo visited this weekend with his 4 yr old son Cooper. All the boys enjoyed a Spring Training Game at the SF Giants Stadium on Saturday! Conor's first baseball game!

Stef's parents will be visiting in a few days and we'll be heading to an A's White Sox game. It's March, and we love having tons of visitors! Looks like our last weekend of the month has freed up, any takers?
Conor loves him some Bananas! We knew fruit would be a hit, he can down an entire package at one sitting. Pears are next on the list!

Gigi & Papa Visit

This past weekend we had Craig's parents in town to visit! The weather was perfect and we had such a great time. Conor is now 8 months old and everyday is more fun than the day before. We are 1 month away from hopefully stopping his last med for his GERD, and hopefully 1 month away from changing to a normal formula! This Nutramigen stuff just stinks!
We've been doing solids for about 2 months now, and have just about gone through every veggie and will be starting fruit this week. So far Conor's favorites are Green Beans, Sweet Potatoes, and Squash!

Still no teeth, but it really seems like any day. Also, still not crawling, but the strength in his legs leads us to wonder if he will skip crawling and go straight to walking?!?

Happy Wednesday!

Never a dull moment...This week, Conor decided to get an eye infection, possibly pinkeye. So he was sent home from Daycare on Monday morning, while Stef was on her way for a 2 day trip to Tucson. His Doctor prescribed him some eye drops, and after 24 hours of that he was able to go back to Daycare today.

Hopefully we are done with some of this virus stuff for awhile. Although, I'm ready for Roseola to make an appearance, since ever child I know has had that at some point.

In just a few days, Conor will be 8 months! I can not believe this! It has truly gone by so fast.
