9 month checkup

Today Conor had his 9 mo well visit. He weighed 19 lbs 1 oz, which is great considering 2 weeks ago he had lost a few pounds when he was sick. He is also 28 inches! He is getting so big! We are going to start implementing some small fingerfoods, as well as some tablefood! I can't believe this, in only 2.5 months he will be 1 yr old! Time to start planning his birthday parties! (He gets one in ABQ with family, and 1 here in Phoenix with friends!)

Weekend

A pretty low key weekend and the weather was just right. Craig hung a swing from the huge tree in our backyard and Conor just laughs the entire time he is in it. This isn't the best picture, b/c he's in motion.

Here is Conor playing with a new toy, a baseball bat just his size! He still has only crawled a little bit, but can rollover and push himself back to a sitting position and can just about pull himself up to a stand if he's near you or the couch. It's really exciting but scarey at the same time! We have his 9 month well visit today, so excited to see his height & weight. We think he lost a few lbs when he was sick around Easter, and feel like he has put it back on and then some!

It's been awhile....

Sorry it's been so long, life has been hectic. Stef got back from Orlando late Thursday night, and on Saturday morning we flew to Albuquerque for her Grandmother's 90th Birthday. It was Conor's first flight and he did awesome!

He ended up being sick for almost a week, which started that Thursday right before Easter. He is doing much much better now, and eating everything insight. We think he is going through a growth spurt b/c he is eating a ton! The video below is of him almost crawling. He gets on all 4s but gets frustrated and usually ends up just rolling over. But in this video he actually moves forward, it's so cute! You will actually see him push off Stoli's head to reach for Craig's cell phone.

Not much planned for the weekend, hopefully a quiet & relaxing one. Possibly a trip to the pool if the weather stays warm. It's already been 100 degrees here, but hoping it will cool off a bit.

Happy Easter!

Conor's First Easter!
So Conor has been sick since Thursday, and everyday he seems to be getting better. The nights have still been rough since he seems to toss his cookies everynight right before bedtime. So that means he goes to bed hungry, poor thing.
On Saturday morning, Stef woke up with the same thing, so we were both out of commission.

We have spent our Easter Sunday relaxing around the house, watching the Masters. Stef has a work trip to Orlando tomorrow for the week, so Gigi & Papa will stay till Thursday! Hopefully no one else in the house decides to get sick!

Good Friday, not so great!

Conor and Stef were home today, not because it was Good Friday, but because Conor caught a virus and started vomitting and explosive diarrhea (is there any other kind?) on Thursday morning. The phone call you don't want to get (daycare)came around 11:00 on Thursday morning. We went to the Dr. and sure enough, a virus is going around. So all we could do was try Pedialyte in small amounts often. Poor Conor, you could tell he was miserable, lethargic, and hungry.
So today, we were able to start small amount of formula again, and so far he has regained some energy and hasn't vomitted since Thursday night. His Gigi & Papa are flying in, in a few hours so we hope he starts feeling lots better, just in time for his first Easter!

Teeth and more hair!

Finally.....a picture of his two bottom teeth!
Conor has been "talking" for awhile now, mostly pronouncing "da da da da da..." But we have also starting hearing "ba ba ba" and "pu pu pu" and a new one today..."na na na na" It's so cute, because its almost like having a conversation since he will answer you back if you imitate him. Still not crawling, but totally mobile. If you set him on the floor sitting up and walk away. Within a matter of a few minutes he will be on his back or tummy, somewhere else. Have already had a few bonks on the hardwood floors, suspect more of those to come.
We are looking forward to Easter weekend, Gigi & Papa will be visiting again! Gigi gets to stay extra long because Stef has a work trip to Orlando the week after Easter.
